About

#Expochat is a weekly brainstorming session for trade show professionals. It’s a mix of brilliance, humility and laughter.

Our objective is to bring the trade show community on Twitter together while discussing topics relevant to us. There are many great chats on Twitter, but none specifically focused on trade shows, so the #ExpoChat fills this gap.

We are looking for producers of trade shows (association, for-profit, independent, B2B and B2C), people who exhibit at trade shows, those who sponsor trade shows and suppliers who provide services and products to the trade show industry. If you fall into any of these categories, or just like a good chat, please join us.

About the moderators, under the umbrella of @ExpoChat:

Traci Browne (@TraciBrowne) is a freelance writer creating B2B content for shows, trade publications and public and private companies. Before writing full time she owned and produced several regional shows and conferences. She has spent years teaching exhibitors how to get more from their trade show marketing dollars and taught show producers how to structure their shows to make their sponsors and exhibitors happier.

Dana Freker Doody is VP of Corporate Communications for The Expo Group and tweets under @theexpogroup. She’s a Disney-trained customer service nut who used to bleed newspaper ink and now bleeds pipe and drape.

Stephanie Selesnick, CEM, President of International Trade Information, Inc. –  longtime tradeshow organizer and consultant, Expoweb.com blogger, sales trainer and social engagement ringleader for SISO who is passionate about tradeshows.
