Show organizers keep being told that we need to make our events more “experiential”. Most think it’s having a networking or food event on the show floor. In a blog last week, I shared some lessons and ideas from the Life Is Beautiful music and art festival recently held in downtown Las Vegas.  Let’s see if we can’t come up with a great resource list of fun, exciting and cool ideas to share – making the events we both attend and produce more experience-oriented and less, well, boring.

Questions:
How do YOU define experiential?
What’s the coolest experiential thing you’ve seen on the show floor?
Why?
What’s the coolest or most innovative marketing (non-expo) thing you’ve seen lately?
How can it be adapted to our business?
How can shows provide different types of experiences to suit particular attendee preferences?
How can introverts be included in the show experience?

But first…what is cool?
