The future of Tweetchat

By now you’ve likely heard that Twitter is changing its API and Tweetchat will no longer work. Not so great for #ExpoChatters…until today.

I just went on tweetchat’s website and this is what I found there…

Due to the impending Twitter API changes, TweetChat will cease functioning as a chat platform when Twitter’s changes go into effect on June 11.

TweetChat has been acquired by Internet Media Labs, home of oneQube SmartStream, and are urging our community to begin using that platform.

The team at Internet Media Labs has put a lot of work into oneQube and it is getting better by the week.

The plan is for TweetChat.com to return as a content and calendar resource for everything about Twitter chats in the near future.

Thanks to all our supporters over the past 4 and a half years! We look forward to seeing your chats continue to grow and be successful leveraging the oneQube SmartStream system!

Now, I’ve been playing around a bit with oneQube and so far so good…I actually like it even more than tweetchat.

Try it out when you get a chance and get familiar with it…then try using it for next week’s #ExpoChat and we’ll see how it goes.
