Creating an EXPERIENCE for the media

#ExpoChat topic for Wed, Feb 1st, 2012 3PM ET

Our topic for this week comes to us from a tweet sent by Chris Dolnack @chrisdolnack Senior Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer at National Shooting Sports Foundation.  They just came off a record breaking show, the NSSF SHOT Show held in Las Vegas.

Today’s chat was inspired by Chris’s post “Thoughts on the 2012 SHOT Show” where this caught my eye…

Another success at this year’s show was Media Day at the Range, where more than 1,200 members of the press were able to test-drive hundreds of new products.

So this week we’ll be talking about how we can create media events at our shows.  Not just a press room, not just a room for exhibitors to make announcements, but an event that gets them interacting with the products and services our exhibitors are selling.

This was not an easy topic to find a video for believe it or not…
