Education on the show floor continued

#expochat for January 11, 2011 noon PT/3pm ET

Last week we touched the surface of the education discussion.  Michelle Bruno brought up the idea of Content Hubs and everyone agreed that topic should be discussed further.  The idea was that exhibits and education would be grouped by content topics or tracks.  So instead of exhibits all in one place and sessions in another, they would be combined somehow.  (for the complete transcript of that chat you can download the pdf here: ConferenceTrade-Show-Education-1.  If you prefer a summary you can see that here.)

So today we’ll talk about this idea and other ideas for what a trade show that includes an educational component might look like.

I watched along on the PCMA virtual session yesterday about education on the show floor and I can tell you right now…the #expochat folks should have been on that panel.

Sorry for lack of entertainment…You try coming up with a cool video/song about content hubs…
