#Expochat for Wednesday, January 4th, 2012 – 3pm ET

This week we will take a look at the educational component of our trade shows. We gather sometimes thousands of people together and try to deliver a program that will beneifit everyone. Is it even possible? Can we improve or should we just keep the status quo? Are our sessions relevant given all the information available online? Should we be using other formats instead of lectures and panels?

If these are some of the questions you have please join in as we try to figure it out together.

Questions for today’s chat…if we can’t fit them all in we’ll do a part two next week…

Q1. How do youwork with your conference education team? In tandem? Don’t know who they are? Pain in your side?
Q2. Should we have more sessions to cover all possible topics or less at higher quality with professional speakers/moderators?
Q3a. How should tracks be formatted? By experience? By job responsibility? By Industry Sector? By learning format? Other?
Q3b. Have you seen tracks organized in new and different ways? How did that work?
Q4. When do unopposed exhibit hours work best?
Q5. Give us your ideas, issues, solutions, suggestions we’ve not talked about yet

Everyone has critics and your can’t please everyone all the time, but should we try?
