How can our tradeshow industry associations be more relevant to their members?

Expochat topic for Wednesday October 5, 2011 3pm ET/noon PT

Today’s chat archive available for download here ExpoChat-10511

We spend hundreds of dollars a year on industry association membership and even more on attending the annual meetings. Budgets are being cut and some memberships have to go. This is your chance to let our trade show industry associations know what you want from them.

We hope that some of our industry associations will be listening on this conversation. Expochats have consistently been a wealth of great information and insights straight from the trenches.

Q1. How would you change the pricing structure or why would you leave it as is?
Q2. What are the top reasons you join an association?
Q3. What could associations do better to meet your needs?
Q4. What are they doing a great job at now?
Q5. Ask not what your association can do for you but what can you do for your association?
Q6. How do you see their role in the future?
